The Farragut Admirals will head out on the road to challenge the Kennedy Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Farragut will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Farragut is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 22-5 margin over Clemente on Wednesday. The Admirals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by nine runs or more this season.

Ben DeMateo and Robert Trejo made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, DeMateo struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Trejo tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Farragut is undefeated when DeMateo allows one or fewer hits, but 6-10 otherwise. At bat, DeMateo got on base in four of his six plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Trejo got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI Trejo has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, Freddy Garcia was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with five stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Farragut's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 6-10 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Nico Roman, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
Farragut was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in 13 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, Kennedy made sure to put some runs up on the board against Lindblom on Saturday. The Crusaders blew past the Eagles 15-5. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Crusaders' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Mason Rychetsky made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Kennedy got a big performance out of Jaycob Solorio, who went 4-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Luke Zavala, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Farragut's record now sits at 9-10. As for Kennedy, their record is now 11-15.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Farragut has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Kennedy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Farragut might still be hurting after the 12-1 loss they got from Kennedy in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Admirals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
