The Maricopa Indians's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Highland Scots at 4:00 p.m. on December 28th. Maricopa comes in on a streak of failing to score more than nine points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 76-2, which was the final score in Maricopa's tilt against Coastal Christian on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Maricopa has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Highland had to suffer through a rough 53-9 loss at the hands of Foothill.
Maricopa bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Highland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
