Chisholm scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Mountain Iron-Buhl, 28-12. At the time, the Rangers were ranked 23rd in the state, while the Bluestreaks were 33rd.
Lane Maranell of South Ridge ran for the longest rushing play in Big North (9 Man) this season against Kelley last week. Maranell scampered for 64 yards on the play and finished with 74 on the day as his team beat the Mariners.
South Ridge's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kody Karppinen has thrown for 1,487 yards and 23 touchdowns this season, while Drew Janke has 64 catches for 887 yards.
Ely added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Northeast Range, 58-16. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
