Valley Oaks CES hasn't had much luck against Triumph Charter recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Vanguards will face off against the Jaguars at 3:00 p.m. Valley Oaks CES is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.

Valley Oaks CES saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andre Zuniga, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Triumph Charter suffered their biggest loss since February 28th on Saturday. They lost 13-3 to Monroe. The Jaguars have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Triumph Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Valley Oaks CES, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Valley Oaks CES has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .591. However, it's not like Triumph Charter struggles in that department as they've averaged .452. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Valley Oaks CES suffered a grim 17-1 defeat to Triumph Charter in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Vanguards avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
