The Healdsburg Greyhounds will take on the Arroyo Dons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Healdsburg's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Arroyo's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Healdsburg is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top against St. Patrick-St. Vincent by a score of 5-2.

Eric Nielsen tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April.
At the plate, Nova Perrill was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Isaiah Robles was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Healdsburg hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Patrick-St. Vincent struck out ten times.
Meanwhile, Arroyo had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pirates, sneaking past 7-5.
Jered Montenegro was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Justin Darosa, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. Another player making a difference was Justin Nelson, who went 3-for-4 with two runs.
Healdsburg has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.1 runs over those games. As for Arroyo, their record is now 16-9.
