Westminster Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by  an  11-1 margin over the Lutheran Cougars. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won five contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Jaymison Lenk made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out nine batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in October of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Sophia Bell, who  went 3-for-5 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in September of 2024.  Charlie Berkmeyer was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  run.
 Westminster Christian  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 5.6  hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 11.2.
Westminster Christian now  has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westminster Christian will welcome Lafayette  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Lutheran, they will take on Lindbergh at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
