Freeland had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Sault Area Blue Devils as they made off with a 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Freeland's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Sault Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.

Freeland has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Alma on the 20th. As for Sault Area, they will host Cheboygan at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils are facing the Chiefs at the right time seeing as the Chiefs are stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
