Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Independence walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Colonial Forge Eagles with a sharp 11-1 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for Independence, who have now won 11 games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Independence's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Colonial Forge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-8.

As of now, neither Independence nor Colonial Forge have any future games scheduled.
