The Payson Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Orem 64-15 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Payson has managed all season.
Payson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cheznie Roundy out in front who scored 17 points. Oaklie Jackman was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and six steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Payson and bumps their season record up to 6-7. As for Orem, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Payson will head out on the road to face off against Provo at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Orem, they will be playing at home against Uintah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Uintah focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
