If the Oakdale Mustangs were feeling good off their 47-14 takedown of the Weston Ranch Cougars on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Oakdale was the victim of a rough 47-22 loss at the hands of Davis on Saturday.
Davis' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jiana Trotman, who scored eight points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Macdonald, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Oakdale's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Davis, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakdale's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lodi at 6:00 p.m. on December 18th. As for Davis, they will challenge Wood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
