The Platteview Trojans won the last time they faced the Beatrice Orangemen, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Platteview skirted past Beatrice 48-46.
Platteview's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaxon Adams led the charge by scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds. The contest was Adams' fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Stobbe, who scored 12 points.
Platteview now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Beatrice, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Platteview will square off against Gross Catholic at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Beatrice, they will head out on the road to face off against Malcolm on Friday.
