The Elliot Christian Eagles stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 46-22 margin over Turlock Christian. With Elliot Christian ahead 30-10 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
It was another big night for Bella Perry, who scored 22 points along with six assists and six steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Elliot Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Knatiya Middleton, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Turlock Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Christiana Eivaz, who scored four points along with ten rebounds.
Elliot Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Turlock Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elliot Christian will face off against Millennium at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Turlock Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Venture Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 18th.
