Westerly got a massive performance out of Jack Zerbarini, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave Zerbarini a new career-high. Zack Miner was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
Westerly always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
As for Mt. Hope, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7. The game marked the first time this season in which they were not able to get on the board.
