They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Antietam 44-12 on the road. With Brandywine Heights Area ahead 29-5 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Addison Benner continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Olivia Moyer, who scored eight points along with seven steals.
Brandywine Heights Area's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5. As for Antietam, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brandywine Heights Area won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Oxford at 11:00 a.m. on January 6th. Oxford presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Brandywine Heights Area in Pennsylvania (Oxford is ranked 71st, while Brandywine Heights Area is ranked 397th). As for Antietam, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Linville Hill at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Linville Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Wednesday.
