Rocky Mountain is 0-10 against Fossil Ridge since October of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Lobos will host the SaberCats at 4:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Rocky Mountain gave up the first runs on Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over Poudre. Considering the Lobos have won eight games by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Claire Killingsworth and Ariana Jackson did most of the damage at the plate: Killingsworth went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles, while Jackson went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three runs gave Killingsworth a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Meyer, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Rocky Mountain was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They are 9-4 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Fossil Ridge couldn't beat Fort Collins on Thursday even though they stacked eight runs on them in the seventh inning. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 13-13 draw.
With that tie, Fossil Ridge's record moves to 6-12-1. As for Rocky Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Rocky Mountain hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .396. However, it's not like Fossil Ridge struggles in that department as they've averaged .317. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
