The Tucson High Magnet School Badgers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sunnyside Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tucson High Magnet School will be looking to extend their current 15-game winning streak.
Tucson High Magnet School put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They breezed by Rincon/University at home to the tune of 83-50. With Tucson High Magnet School ahead 44-19 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Adam Bernal was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 15 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Julio Marquez, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Sunnyside came up short against Rincon/University on Tuesday and fell 56-46.
Tucson High Magnet School pushed their record up to 19-1 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.0 points per game. As for Sunnyside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Tucson High Magnet School against Sunnyside when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 76-44 win. Will Tucson High Magnet School repeat their success, or does Sunnyside have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
