Basketball Recap: Enochs' Win Ends Eight-Game Losing Streak at Home

There's no place like home for Enochs, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Buhach Colony Thunder with a sharp 52-26 win on Thursday. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Thunder, too.

Leading Enochs to victory were Alivia Pierce and Dannielle Warburton. Pierce dropped a double-double on 14 points and 18 steals, while Warburton dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 boards gave Warburton a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenadee Paxton, who posted five points and ten rebounds.

Enochs smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games.

Enochs' victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-11. As for Buhach Colony, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-13.

Enochs will venture away from home to take on Turlock at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Enochs is facing Turlock at the right time seeing as Turlock is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Buhach Colony, they will face off against Golden Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Buhach Colony will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Golden Valley will have lost six straight heading into Tuesday's matchup.
