Softball Recap: Macomb Wins Going Away Against Bowlegs

After only two runs in their last match, Macomb made sure to put some runs up on the board against Bowlegs on Friday. The Hornets blew past the Bison 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won six contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Macomb has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Bowlegs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Macomb didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 defeat against Strother on the 6th. As for Bowlegs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-6 loss against Earlsboro on the 8th.
