The Carlisle Thundering Herd will head out on the road to square off against the Boiling Springs Bubblers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Carlisle is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Carlisle ended up a good deal behind the Rams and lost 45-28. While losing is never fun, Carlisle can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 374th, while the Rams are ranked 43rd).
Meanwhile, Boiling Springs was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Friday as they fell 37-31 to the Crusaders. Boiling Springs has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Carlisle has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Boiling Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
