Covenant Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Bo Reid, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs Reid has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrison Barton, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Reid wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Covenant Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Covenant Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Unity Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Covenant Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Pinecrest Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Unity Christian, they will head out to face off against Oakwood Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
