At the plate, Max McAuliffe was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Rory Lichtman, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and one double.
Lakeside kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Druid Hills only managed seven.
Lakeside's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Norcross, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
