Basketball Recap: Carver High School of Engineering & Science Skates Past Science Leadership Academy with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carver High School of Engineering & Science). They breezed by Science Leadership Academy to the tune of 47-14 on Friday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-7.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carver High School of Engineering & Science to victory, but perhaps none more so than Savannah Hall, who posted 19 points. With that strong performance, Hall is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game. Another player making a difference was Isabella Brown, who put up 12 points.

The win made it two in a row for Carver High School of Engineering & Science and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Science Leadership Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver High School of Engineering & Science will venture away from home to face off against Central at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Science Leadership Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Roxborough at 3:15 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
