The Pueblo West Cyclones will face off against the Vista Ridge Wolves at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pueblo West is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
On Tuesday, Pueblo West made easy work of Fountain-Fort Carson and carried off a 12-1 win. Considering the Cyclones have won 14 contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Pueblo West got a massive performance out of Acelyn Duran, who went 2-for-4 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave Duran a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Taci Ehrlich, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Pueblo West kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Vista Ridge didn't have quite enough to beat Pine Creek on Wednesday and fell 7-5.
Jaylani Jusino was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Jocelynn Kalkman was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.
Vista Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Pueblo West, their victory bumped their record up to 16-6.
Vista Ridge's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Pueblo West has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.1 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Vista Ridge, though, as they've been averaging only 2.1 strikeouts. Will Pueblo West keep running through batters, or will the Wolves buck the trend?
Everything went Pueblo West's way against Vista Ridge in their previous meeting on Saturday, as Pueblo West made off with a 9-0 win. Will the Cyclones repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
