When it comes to explaining why Apple Valley Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Della Edsell. Despite the final result, she scored six points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Apple Valley Christian struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Academy of Careers & Exploration pulled down 13 offensive rebounds.
