This season hasn't been kind to The Legacy , who are still winless after their eighth contest. They took a 38-21 bruising from St. Mary's Central on Friday. Legacy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Mary's Central apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Three players turned in solid performances, on Friday, but Legacy still came up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Connor Lang, who rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns.
Legacy's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 0-8. As for St. Mary's Central, their victory on Friday bumped their record up to 2-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Legacy will take on Fargo Davies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fargo Davies comes into the match much higher ranked than Legacy in North Dakota (Fargo Davies is ranked eighth, while Legacy is ranked 43rd). As for St. Mary's Central, they will be playing at home against Shanley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Shanley will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
