Frank Thomas looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Derick Friedman, who went 3-for-4 with one home run. Another player making a difference was AJ Sirianni, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Cathedral Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in six consecutive matchups.
