Costa Mesa found their leader in underclassman Emi Kamikihara, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Leilani Quero, who scored four points along with five steals.
Costa Mesa's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-18. As for Saddleback, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-20.
