Rio Mesa hadn't done well against Santa Barbara recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rio Mesa Spartans strolled past the Santa Barbara Dons with points to spare, taking the game 52-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rio Mesa to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brianna Adams, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sofia Mora, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 boards.

The win got Rio Mesa back to even at 2-2. As for Santa Barbara, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Rio Mesa will host San Marcos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rio Mesa is facing San Marcos at the right time seeing as San Marcos is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Santa Barbara, they will head out to face off against Buena at 7:00 p.m. on December 17th.
