There's no place like home for Prairie City-Monroe, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Grand View Christian Thunder on Friday as they made off with an 11-1 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

Prairie City-Monroe's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Grand View Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Looking ahead, Prairie City-Monroe will head out to take on Nevada at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs are facing the Cubs at the right time seeing as the Cubs are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Grand View Christian, they will square off against Saydel at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Thunder will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: the Eagles will have lost three straight heading into Monday's matchup.
