Sam Dempsey was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Midtown's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Mays hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .327. It's a different story for Midtown, though, as they've only averaged .255. Will they be able to contain Mays' hitters?
Mays suffered a grim 21-0 defeat to Midtown in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can Mays avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
