Meanwhile, Canoga Park's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Kennedy 68-15. Reseda's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Canoga Park, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
Everything came up roses for Reseda against Canoga Park in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 66-37 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Reseda since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
