The Jacksonville Christian Academy Thunder came into Tuesday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 67-56 win over Alabama School for the Deaf on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Jesse Gannaway, who scored 37 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Lee, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds.
Jacksonville Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Alabama School for the Deaf, their loss dropped their record down to 7-17.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jacksonville Christian Academy will face off against the Conquerors on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Alabama (Coosa Christian is ranked 443rd, while the Thunder are ranked 442nd). Alabama School for the Deaf will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
