After losing to the Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs the last time they met, the Bishop Moore Hornets decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Bishop Moore walked away with a 64-52 victory over Mount Dora Christian Academy on Thursday.
Cameron Codio continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Elias, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Bishop Moore's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Mount Dora Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Bishop Moore will be playing at home against Lake Highland Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount Dora Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against South Sumter at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
