Softball Recap: Glasgow Wins Going Away Against Norborne

While Glasgow put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Norborne. The Yellowjackets were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Pirates. Considering the Yellowjackets have won four contests by more than 12 runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Halle Fuemmeler, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Aly Prentzler, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Glasgow always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Glasgow now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Norborne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glasgow will venture away from home to square off against Higbee at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Norborne, they will head out to challenge Tri-County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
