Another player making a difference was  Rainessa Matthews, who  scored eight points along with ten  rebounds and two  steals.
 West Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 23-8. As for University Prep, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 13 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record  this season.
 West Valley will head out on the road to  challenge  Mt. Diablo at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hopefully West Valley focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 18 on Saturday. As for University Prep, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Riverbank at 7:00  p.m. University Prep is coming into the  game with 11 straight  victories at home,  so Riverbank will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum.
