Thornton Academy is 8-2 against Windham since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Trojans are taking a road trip to square off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Thornton Academy has five straight victories, Windham has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Thornton Academy barely beat Noble the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Knights on Tuesday. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Ryan Manning, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Windham's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Thornton Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .330. It's a different story for Windham, though, as they've only averaged .208. Will they be able to contain Thornton Academy's hitters?
Thornton Academy got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2025 against Windham by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
