Grayson gave up the first goal on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Rams who were credited with the victory. The Grayson Rams got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Discovery Titans's two. Given Grayson's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked sixth, while Discovery are ranked 103rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Nebyu Samuel and Manidou Camara scored both of Grayson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Grayson pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those five matchups. As for Discovery, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Grayson wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Loganville on the 18th. As for Discovery, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Shiloh on the 18th.
