Meanwhile, Owen J. Roberts' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 46-33 to Downingtown East. While losing is never fun, Owen J. Roberts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 360th, while Downingtown East is ranked 92nd).
Pope John Paul II now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Owen J. Roberts, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 5-7.
