Christian Academy of Knoxville had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 72-26 victory over the First Baptist Academy Eagles. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 25 points or more this season.

Leading Christian Academy of Knoxville to victory were Colie Thompson and Maddie Braden. Thompson went 8-for-14 en route to 16 points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds, while Braden went 7-for-12 to rack up 19 points and five steals. Thompson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 13 games she's played. Sophie Carroll was another key player, putting up eight points along with 11 boards and three blocks.

Christian Academy of Knoxville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive games.

Christian Academy of Knoxville pushed their record up to 21-7 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.6 points over those games. As for First Baptist Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.
