The Christian Brothers Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 24 points or more this season. They really took it to Sheldon for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-20 win on the road. With Christian Brothers ahead 36-16 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Christian Brothers got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Joy Omishakin out in front who scored 15 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Those eight steals set a new season-high mark for her. Journey Williams-Mitchell was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
Christian Brothers' victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Sheldon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
Christian Brothers and Salpointe Catholic will round out the year against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. Salpointe Catholic is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Sheldon, they will play host again and welcome Kennedy, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Sheldon in California (Kennedy is ranked 235th, while Sheldon is ranked 621st).
