The Waynesburg Central Raiders put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Frazier at home to the tune of 80-14. Fans of Waynesburg Central have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
It was another big night for Kaley Rohanna, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Waynesburg Central's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Cowell, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds.
Despite the loss, Frazier saw an underclassman step up: Allie Yauch scored ten points. The matchup was Yauch's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Waynesburg Central's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Frazier, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Waynesburg Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Bethlehem Center at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Bethlehem Center will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 308th, while Waynesburg Central is ranked 62nd). As for Frazier, they will head out on the road to face off against Winchester Thurston at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
