It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pomona had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Academy of Careers & Exploration Eagle as they made off with a 13-3 win. Considering the Red Devils have won ten matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Leo Luna was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Noah Zayas, who went 1-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Pomona has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Academy of Careers & Exploration, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9.

Coming up, Pomona will take on Mountain View at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight. Academy of Careers & Exploration does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
