Central and Troup County are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2015, but likely not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Central face off against the Troup County at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Central is headed into Saturday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Cedartown, falling 4-1.

Central's goal came courtesy of Orlando Ruiz-Perez, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, Troup County kept a clean sheet against Upson-Lee on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Knights. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Tigers were the better team in the second half.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Troup County, their record is now 2-4.

Central came up short against Troup County in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 3-1. Can Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
