North Cobb has gone 8-2 against Marietta recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Warriors will take on the Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
North Cobb gave up the first points back in September, but they didn't give up any more after. They came out on top against North Paulding by a score of 24-17. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Wolfpack recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Zach Belyeu had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 169 yards and two TDs on only 12 carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 109.5 rushing yards per game.
North Cobb didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Marcus Singleton. He is becoming a predictor of North Cobb's success: when he posts at least one interception the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Another thorn in North Paulding's side was Dylan Rainey, who forced one fumble and made 12 total tackles.
Meanwhile, it may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Marietta ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 41-38 win over Walton. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Blue Devils were the better team in the second half.
Marietta's win came from a few key players North Cobb will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Elijah Green, who picked up 85 receiving yards and three touchdowns. That's the most receiving yards he has posted since back in November of 2024. Titus Grant was in the mix too, providing Marietta with two scores.
Marietta didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Walton to a completion percentage of just 39.3%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: Alec Huff and Danta Young, who each logged two passes deflected. Marietta wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 68.2%.
North Cobb's record is now 4-2. As for Marietta, their record now sits at 3-4.
North Cobb strolled past Marietta when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 38-22. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
