The Jesuit Marauders will venture away from home to take on the Bradshaw Christian Pride at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
If Jesuit beats Bradshaw Christian with nine runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Marauders were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over Granite Bay on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Marauders.

Eric Erdmann made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Javier Ramirez, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Austin Norquist was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Bradshaw Christian came tearing into Thursday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Wolverines.
Like Jesuit, Bradshaw Christian also got a great game from a two-way player: David Wiser. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Wiser has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Landon Carter was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. He continues to improve, besting his previous run total in each of the last three games he's played.
Bradshaw Christian pushed their record up to 23-2 with the win, which was their 27th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Jesuit, their record now sits at 18-9.
