A Season-Best Effort from Cole Allen Leads St. John's over St. Mark's
St. John was led to victory by Cole Allen, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Allen rushed for 439 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 15.7 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards.
Allen might have his next game, a home matchup with Episcopal School of Dallas, circled on his calendar. Allen rushed for 242 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 73 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.

Shanks Jr. Made His Presence Known in Kinkaid's 16-14 Win
Kinkaid picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Wayne Shanks Jr.. Shanks Jr. was unstoppable, picking up 126 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 85 yards. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 53 yards.
Kinkaid pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Shanks Jr. and Kinkaid will head out on the road to challenge Cooper at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Kinkaid Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to David Capobianco
David Capobianco's big game helped extend Kinkaid's winning streak to seven on Friday. Capobianco threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 82 yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the year, Capobianco has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 152.1 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 1.88 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 20.13 rushing yards.
