The Red Lion Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 45-31 fall against Dallastown. Red Lion lost against Dallastown in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 43-38 score last time.
Red Lion's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Julia Sedora, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds, and Grace Masser who scored nine points. Sedora scored a full 35.5% of Red Lion's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Red Lion struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Red Lion's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Dallastown, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Lion will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Hershey at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dallastown will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Spring Grove at 7:15 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
