 At the plate, Willow Glen got a big performance out of  Jesse Livezey, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.  Alex Rose was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Leland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Willow Glen, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home.
 Leland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  9-2  loss vs. Los Altos on the 16th. Willow Glen has also already played their next matchup,  a  12-3  defeat against Soquel on the 16th.
