Deuce Timmons had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 131 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries, and also threw for 146 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 10-for-10 passing. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 69 yards. Jamarion Jeffrey also helped with two scores in total.
Looking ahead, Sulphur Springs will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Poteet, they will head out on the road to face off against West Mesquite at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
