Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Franklinton). They put the hurt on the Fontainebleau Bulldogs with a sharp 41-20 victory on Thursday. The Demons pushed the score to 35-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Franklinton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacob Crain, who threw for 248 yards and three TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes. Crain has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Franklinton's leading receiver Damikies McClain was Crain's top target yet again, picking up 91 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Fontainebleau's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Suhre, who rushed for 42 yards and one score, and also picked up 30 receiving yards. Conner Tyson helped out on the ground, rushing for 102 yards.
The win made it two in a row for Franklinton and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.0 points over those games. As for Fontainebleau, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 2-2.
Franklinton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-14 defeat against Sumner on the 3rd. As for Fontainebleau, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 28-7 loss against Covington on the 2nd.
